ABOUT OUR KITTENS

Northwest Savannahs kittens are hand-raised in our home, socialized with other cats and are litter box trained before leaving our care. Kittens usually will have received one set of vaccinations before their departure to their new home and will have a health guarantee and Health Report Card from our veterinarian. Our kittens have strong immune systems and are physically and mentally ready to go to their new homes normally at eight weeks of age. Eight weeks is when their world starts to expand. It is also when their bond with their environment and family deepens. We endeavor to promote this special bonding time with their new family.


COST

Our kittens (F1 and F2's) range from $4,000 to $15,000 depending on their generation, percentage, sex and how close they fit the breed standard. F1 and F2’s are genetically too close to the serval to be eligible for the show ring, but must still fit the standard. Any kitten with a coat color or pattern not on the TICA breed standard will be sold at a reduced price.


WAITING LIST

If you have decided you would like one of our kittens, we will be happy to place your name on our waiting list. Please email or call us with the following information:

• Telephone number
• Your location
• What you are looking for in a Savannah (color, gender, for pet or breeding/showing).

Kittens are sold on a first come, first serve basis. When kittens become available, the first person on the waiting list will have first choice, the second person on the list will have second choice, and so on. When we get to your name on the list, you will have the option to chose from the available kittens, wait for another litter, or you can ask to be removed from the list.


DEPOSITS

Once kittens are born and a specific kitten is selected we will accept a non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 to hold that kitten. Kittens WILL NOT BE HELD for anyone WITHOUT A DEPOSIT. Deposits can be made by cash (if local), cashier’s check, money order or personal check. If unforeseen circumstances occur and we are unable to provide your selected kitten to you we will refund your deposit in full.


PAYMENTS

Full payment for the kitten plus any shipping fees must be made before the kitten is released to its new owner. Payment may be made by cash (if local), cashier's check, money order or personal check.


HEALTH GUARANTEE

Northwest Savannahs guarantees our kittens to be of sound health at delivery date. A Health Report Card from our veterinarian will accompany the new kitten. We also guarantee our kittens against untreatable, life threatening congenital defects for the first year of their life. Northwest Savannahs is a FeLV and FIV free cattery.


SHIPPING

Northwest Savannahs ship both nationally and internationally. We encourage United States purchasers to fly here and pick up kittens in person as in-cabin flights are less stressful on them. Surprisingly, the cost of a domestic roundtrip flight is comparable to the fee charged by most airlines to ship a pet to your destination. We are happy to meet you at the Seattle airport, buy you lunch and introduce you to your new little one.


REGISTRATION PAPERS

All of our kittens are TICA registered. For Pet contracts, TICA registration papers will be provided once veterinarian proof of spay-neuter is sent to us.If buyer does not alter the kitten within the contracted time frame, there will be a fee of $1000 before registration papers will be released. For breeding or show quality kittens, papers will be provided at time of kitten delivery.
