How did we start this business?The Christmas before last we created bells and stands as gifts for our families. So many of their friends inquired about them that we took a metal-working and welding class together to develop/refine our metal working skills and are now making garden bells available to everyone.
About Troy...
After six years of USAF advanced electronics Troy continued his education and earned a BS degree from Oregon State University. Combining the studies of Art and Communication he created his own major -- Multimedia and 3D Graphics and Animation. He was then accepted into Vancouver Film School in British Columbia for continued computer 3D animation training. Troy’s professional work experience includes Oregon State University, Intel Corporation and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Having left this computer career he engages this new bell-making endeavor with enthusiasm. “I love making things with my hands much more than on a computer and I’ve watched a hundred times… people walk up to our bells, ring them, then smile with innocent surprise and sigh with a relaxing awe that seems to stop time for a few moments. I love the joy our bells bring to others and love working with my darling Gail to bring that joy.”
About Gail...
After 21 years of Nursing and 15 years of feline genetic research Gail was ready for something new. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and an Associates degree in Nursing. Gail has conducted national speech presentations on feline genetics and has appeared on the television shows “Good Morning America” and “Animal Planet” to promote the Pixie-Bob™ cat breed of which she is one of the four founding board members. She helped derive and set global standards for the Pixie-Bob™ cat breed and has been a professional consultant on wildcat genetic traits, characteristics and personalities. She loves creativity and having fun. Gail’s creative passion to bring the beauty of NuLife Garden Sounds into the world is complimented by living her dream of working together with Troy from their home.
